  2. Thanks Joe. You are so right, a cool dude from California. Be aware that your translation service translated that to something more like a "a chilled dude":) But thumbs up for the effort!

  3. Den hesten ser i allefall spooky ut. Har jeg sett den før et sted?

  4. Yeah, It's Googles Translation. It works better than any of the others though! What is that building in the first photo? The more I look at that photo the more I can see the Horse in the next photo pulling a cart down that road! Really cool picture. I would think it's somewhere in Norway?

I guess Google is up with the times. Chilled is what the kids are using today ;-)

  5. Well, first things first. All three are from my hometown Bergen, shot last saturday. The first one is an old gate to the city. Back in the old days (pre 20th century), they would collect taxes from farmers bringing their goods for sale in the city. And they did come in horse carriages, so the connection you are making is, or was, real. Nowdays they arrange a farmers market in the city once every month, where regional farmers sell their produce, sort of fresh fresh from the farm, or homemade specialties. Once in while they also throw in a horse and old steamboats to sort of give it a historical feel. ...but of course, the farmers tend to bring their goods in motorized vehicles in 2009 :)
